Try Pixel Sandbox (beta) at tikolu.net/pixel-sandbox Pixel Sandbox is an online tool which allows you to create custom patterns and filters on a per-pixel basis. This is done by arranging blocks to form a script. The project is still very early in development, and a lot of new features are still yet to be added. The goal is for anyone to be able to make their own scripts and publish them to the community, which will allow anyone else to use them. Your feedback is important! Try out Pixel Sandbox for yourself, and see what you think. Share your feedback below. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Feedback: - It looks very promising! I would love if there were different types of loops though, other than the right-down "for each pixel" loop. Maybe a down-right "for each pixel" loop? How about a "For" loop? And also, a question: is there a way I can access any individual pixel I want, and, for example, extract its color? Second point - sometimes when I do a calculation I get a number above 100 or below 0, so I can't use it as a value for color. Although I can (and do) use if statements to get around that, a "compress" function would be nice. And lastly, how do you minimize the "examples" window on the bottom? I want to make my workspace bigger... Again, if I didn't make this clear - this is very useful and neat and I could see many potential uses for it, It's just that currently the amount of things you can do is quite limited. - You can access the colour of a pixel by using the "colour" block (see the filters in the examples for a demonstration). As for the loops, there is now a for loop available in the list blocks. To "compress" a value, just divide it by your maximum possible value, and then multiply it by 100. Thanks for all the feedback! ~ Tikolu - Hhhh - Ok ~ Tikolu - SyntaxError: invalid regular expression flag s @ pixel-sandbox:1159:59 Can't even dismiss the initial overlay ~ tibo
