[ 18 May 2025 ] What I remember about Foundation Y I remember seeing messages about something called "Foundation Y" on random pages like /3 (I might be mistaken). It's probably been around during the same time as Tiktak (a griefer) in 2017. Random thought about some factions Many factions including WORDET, WarrenCorp (old and new), the New Cult of Marisa, and the Aegis Combine claimed to have a large member count but I've never seen their supposed members do anything else on ETT, so I suspect they were simply alter egos of the factions' respective owners. The only actual WORDET members I've seen were Pascal S and P.O.WORDET. I found Pascal S on /cary or /carykh in 2017 before World Edit War 1 fighting against griefers - pages like these were the target of 71.11.64.73's copypastas. (I left for a while after World Edit War 1, so I had no idea how Pascal disappeared, nor how P.O.WORDET replaced Pascal as the main WORDET member. Most of WORDET's history in 2017 is lost to me.) I've seen WarrenCorp and interacted with them, but it didn't seem that they had many members. [ 11 May 2025 ] Catsec's activity during the HTwins Era Catsec fought on the side of anti-griefers during World Edit War 1, but for some reason I remember him as an enemy even though I fought against griefers. In fact, on WORDET's list of griefers, my IP (70.53.225.248) was identified as "Unknown griefer that hates Catsec". I remember seeing Catsec appear around the time of the 1002 spam. Catsec also had a chat page that was connected to their personal website. On another note, one HTwins-Era ETT user had previously split the history of the HTwins Era by these key events: 1. Creation of ETT (2010) 2. Formation of communities (2014?) 3. Creation of the Text Wehrmacht (2017?) 4. World Edit War 1 (late 2017) 5. Creation of the Flanders Empire and the ETTA (early 2018) 6. World Edit War 2 (2018) [ 23 February 2025 ] Possible origins of two HTwins-era ETT griefers: Back then, the XᴄTʀ Fᴇᴅᴇʀᴀᴛɪᴏɴ was one of the many griefers we encountered. WORDET also made a widely-spread text condemning XCTR. In January 2022 (that's four years later), a user named k0nr claimed credit for creating the original XCTR Federation. "XᴄTʀ has been long dead, and I have since stopped my life of greifing. Don't believe the copycat "XᴄTʀ"s, they are fake!" k0nr said in their own ETT page, /k0nr. (Edit: that wasn't in January 2022, but somewhere in 2021). On DeviantArt, a user named djloehr wrote a post which talked about another copypasta that was spammed around, the infamous Squiddy Virus: "Also, I must confess. I was the one who created the "Squiddy virus" that wound up spreading through ETT and eventually destroying the site in its final days. I didn't do the Ned Flanders crap, though. Regardless, I deeply apologize for accidentally making a joke that wound up getting abused by spammers." However, the post has since been removed. https://www.deviantart.com/djloehr/art/Three-Years-of-BFB-860079719 [ 22 February 2025 ] EarthKDI has unearthed a nice piece of history from the 2018 WORDET era. It's a page created by a user named "Diamond Spaceship" who was apparently allied to WORDET and against griefers such as Ned Flanders. If you want to see it yourself, it's in /message2wordet. I've initially lost hope of finding more things from the past, but I'll see what I can do now. As far as I know, WORDET was founded in 2017 after the wars involving 1002 and Catsec (kinda of forgot who Catsec was), participated in the First World Edit War, and gained ownership of the /chatroom towards 2018. Its owner P.O.WORDET became inactive a few months later, around the time of the WarrenCorp conflict. [ 18 January 2025 ] A new carykh video — "Jelly Evolution Simulator" — has been uploaded! It's similar to the evolution simulator he made a few years ago, but with softbodies. This is quite cool. There is going to be a second part in this series. [ 6 November 2024 ] I'm still compiling information about the history of ETT. If I had to write a book about it, this is how the book would be divided: - general history of ETT, which does not focus on a specific page - history of specific pages, e.g. /chatroom, /dict, etc. - other types of content, which may be inserted anywhere Although I discovered ETT during the HTwins.net era, I can't find a lot of information about it.
